SoundBrewer :: VSampler Tutorial :: How to Load GigaStudio banks or SoundFonts
How to load GigaStudio (.gig) or SoundFonts (.sf2) in Maz Sound Tools VSampler
1. If you have purchased Instantly Downloaded sounds from SoundBrewer you will want to first unzip the files and copy them to your hard drive. (We suggest you create a directory like “c:\SoundBrewer Samples”, although you can create any directory, or unzip the files to your desktop.)
If you have purchased a sample disc you can load the sounds directly off the disc, or copy them to your hard drive.
2. Click the ‘Import' button which will show the different files that can be loaded. Select either ‘SF2' if you want to load SoundFonts, or ‘GIG' if you want to load GigaStudio files.

3. When you click on the button a directory will open. Browse to the directory where your sounds are (example c:\SoundBrewer Samples), choose the file you want to load and click ‘Open'.
4. After the file is selected it will show in the lower panel. To load the file, first select which channel you want to load the file into, and then double click on the file in the lower panel.
5. The GigaStudio bank or SoundFont is loaded.

You can edit the sample to get more control over the sound, or use the file as it is.
