The Pop Drum Kit is a modern sounding kit with a bright snare and bright ringing toms. It is extremely versatile and fits well on all modern music. It contains multiple velocity layers, and multiple drum hits to provide you with a very live, very real drum kit.
Drums are the foundation of modern music. It is vitally important to have a solid drum kit sound. Unfortunately, it is hard to find realistic drum samples. Sample CD's often sound "fake" because the recording techniques used are completely different from techniques used in commercial recordings. However, all of the sample recordings of the Pop Drum Kit have been recorded in the same manner as drums for any high level multitracked album. Each drum was individually miked, and there were two overhead microphones to capture the overall feel of the kit. You hear the entire kit, not just a single drum.
