SoundBrewer :: Live Synth Pro Tutorial :: How to Load SoundFonts
How to load SoundFonts (.sf2) in Live Synth Pro
Note: The Live Synth Pro software has been discontinued.
1. If you have purchased Instantly Downloaded sounds from SoundBrewer you will want to first unzip the files and copy them to your hard drive. (We suggest you create a directory like “c:\SoundBrewer Samples”, although you can create any directory, or unzip the files to your desktop.)
If you have purchased a sample disc you can load the sounds directly off the disc, or copy them to your hard drive.
2. Click the ‘Browse' button. This will open a directory window.

3. Browse to the directory where your SoundFonts are (example c:\SoundBrewer Samples), choose the file you want to load and click ‘Open'.

4. The path to the SoundFont will show in the ‘Filename' box. Click the ‘Load' button.
5. The SoundFont is now loaded and will be shown in the ‘Currently loaded SoundFont bank(s)' box.

You can edit the sample to get more control over the sound, or use the file as it is.
To purchase Sample CD's or instantly download samples of guitars, drums, synths, and ethnic instruments for Live Synth Pro visit the SoundBrewer online store.
